GOODWILL CONTRIBUTION BY TEMASEK GROUP OF COMPANIES TO VIETNAM

       Ho Chi Minh City, 4 August 03 - Temasek Holdings, together with 6 leading Singapore companies, are presenting two thermal imaging scanners and four ventilators to Vietnam as part of the Temasek Group's ongoing efforts to forge closer relationships with other Asian economies. The co-sponsors of this contribution are: Ascott Group, Keppel Corporation, Keppel Land, PSA Corporation, SembCorp Parks Holdings and Singapore Airlines.

       Mr Lim Chee Onn, Board of Director, Temasek Holdings and Executive Chairman, Keppel Corporation, is presenting the scanners and ventilators to Vietnam on behalf of the Temasek Group of Companies. Mr Lim presented one scanner and two ventilators to the Party Secretary of Ho Chi Minh City at a ceremony today in Ho Chi Minh City, and he will present the other scanner and two ventilators to the Party Secretary of Hanoi tomorrow. Representatives of the Temasek-linked companies were present at Ho Chi Minh City today, and will be present at Hanoi to witness the presentations.

       Mr Lim Chee Onn said, "I'm privileged to be able to represent the Temasek Group of Companies to present a token of our support to Vietnam. This represents our commitment towards Vietnam, and we look forward to more collaborations with businesses in Vietnam."

       This latest contribution to Vietnam by the Temasek Group of Companies follows earlier contributions to China - Beijing and Shanghai, Indonesia and Taiwan. These tokens of support represent the commitment of the Temasek Group of Companies towards enhancing the economic prosperity of the region. In total, the Temasek Group contributed ten thermal imaging scanners and 26 ventilators.
