Upon his retirement as Chairman at the end of July 2013, Mr S Dhanabalan had agreed to support Temasek, as an adviser in an honorary capacity, for an initial period of one year with effect from 1 August 2013. This enabled our Temasek Board and management to tap on his extensive network and perspectives on key issues.  

Mr Dhanabalan has recently advised Temasek of his intention to step down as an honorary adviser with effect from 1 August 2014.

Mr Lim Boon Heng thanks Mr Dhanabalan most warmly for his counsel and invaluable support over the past year.   

All of us at Temasek remember Mr Dhanabalan fondly as mentor and guide to many inside and outside Temasek, and wish him the very best.  

Mr Dhanabalan remains a Trustee of the Temasek Trust, a non-profit Trust responsible for the financial management and disbursement of endowments, donations and gifts to various designated non-profit philanthropic beneficiaries.
