Temasek Holdings (Pte) Ltd has appointed investment bank J P Morgan as its financial advisor for the sale of its entire shareholding in SEMAC. The proposed divestment is in line with Government's privatisation policy.

2. SEMAC is a wholly owned subsidiary of ENV Corporation, which is in turn wholly owned by Temasek Holdings. Since its corporatisation in 1996, SEMAC has grown to become Singapore's largest one-stop waste management company that offers a diversified range of products and services including waste removal, cleansing services and waste management consultancy services. Leveraging on its extensive experience and expertise in waste management, SEMAC is actively looking out for new business opportunities in Singapore as well as in the region.
