Temasek Holdings is pleased to announce that Ms Ho Ching, appointed Director to the Temasek board in Jan 02, has assumed the position of Executive Director of Temasek Holdings on 1 May 02. She will be working closely with the board and management of Temasek to review, rationalise and consolidate Temasek's interests in various businesses.

Temasek Holdings also wishes to announce that Mr Chris Matten will be joining Temasek Holdings on 24 Jun 02 as Managing Director (Corporate Stewardship). He will be responsible for developing policies on capital structure and allocation, and overseeing implementation of a value-based performance framework in the Temasek Group.
