Temasek Holdings is pleased to announce that Mr Henry Lim will be joining the company as Managing Director, Finance from 1 September 2002, covering its financial and MIS portfolio.

2. Mr Lim, 47, will be taking over from Mr John Teo, who has left to join Singapore Pools as its Chief Financial Officer.
3. Mr Lim joins Temasek from StarHub, where he has been the Chief Financial Officer since October 1998 and was part of the pioneering team which launched StarHub's services in April 2000. While at StarHub, he also headed the Corporate division.
4. Before joining StarHub, Mr Lim spent 11 years with the Singapore Technologies group, first as the Financial Controller at Singapore Computer Systems (SCS) in 1987. He rose to head SGX-listed SCS as Managing Director in 1995, before moving on to Singapore Technologies Industrial Corporation as the Director for Strategic Development. During his tenure in various leadership capacities in SCS, the leading software firm achieved a 10-year compounded annual growth rate of 42% in profits and 18% in revenues.
