Chloe Chua was just three years old when she stepped into a dance studio — and she’s never looked back since.

Today, the 18-year-old is a final-year dance student at @School of the Arts and a proud recipient of Temasek Foundation Nurtures’ David Marshall Young Artists Scholarship. The scholarship helps support promising young students in the areas of dance, sports and music.

“I can still remember the feeling of receiving a standing ovation (after a public duet performance she had participated in). It was indescribable, and I think at that moment I realised that hard work does pay off – and this is why I love what I do.”
