Temasek Holdings is pleased to announce that Ms Yeo Lian Sim, currently Deputy Managing Director of the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), will be seconded to the company as Managing Director, Capital Resource Management from 11 November 2002 for two years.

2. Ms Yeo will be responsible for developing the framework for the efficient utilisation and management of Temasek's capital resources in support of Temasek's investment needs. She will oversee in-house fund management in traded markets as well as private equity funds.
3. Ms Yeo has had a distinguished career at MAS with more than 25 years of experience in economic analysis, developing monetary policy and managing Singapore's foreign reserves. Her most recent responsibilities were to regulate the capital market. As Deputy Managing Director of MAS, Ms Yeo provided senior management direction over key market conduct, consumer and developmental issues, as well as over the regulation of the securities and futures markets, intermediaries and products.
