Taipei

Temasek Holdings, together with Chartered Semiconductor Manufacturing, DBS, Neptune Orient Lines, SembCorp Logistics, Singapore Airlines and Singapore Technologies Electronics, presented two thermal imaging scanners and two ventilators to Taiwan today as a token of the Temasek Group's support towards Taiwan.

Ms Ho Ching, Executive Director of Temasek Holdings, presented the equipment to Taiwan's Minister of Transportation and Communications Mr Lin Ling-San in a ceremony this morning at the Ministry of Transportation and Communications in Taipei. Representatives of the six Temasek-linked companies were also present to witness the ceremony.

This latest contribution to Taiwan by the Temasek Group of Companies follows earlier contributions to China - Beijing and Shanghai, and Indonesia. This forms part of the Temasek Holdings Group's ongoing efforts to forge closer relationships with other Asian economies, and represents the commitment of the Temasek Group of Companies towards enhancing the economic prosperity of the region.
