Temasek Holdings (Private) Limited (“Temasek”) is pleased to announce two new senior appointments for the firm.
Mr Hsieh Fu Hua will take on a full-time role as Executive Director and President with effect from 1 August 2010 and Mr Dilhan Pillay Sandrasegara will join Temasek as Head, Portfolio Management with effect from 18 October 2010.
Mr Hsieh joined the Temasek Board on 1 February this year and was appointed Special Advisor to the CEO, Ms Ho Ching. In his new role as ED & President, he will work closely with Ms Ho Ching and the Temasek leadership team, to build a robust institution for the long term, including talent development and succession planning at Temasek.
Mr Sandrasegara is currently the Managing Partner of WongPartnership LLP. He will bring over 20 years of legal experience including mergers and acquisitions, covering both public and private transactions in Singapore and other jurisdictions in Asia. Recognised as one of the best corporate lawyers in Singapore, Dilhan will head our Portfolio Management which focuses on governance and value creation opportunities for the Temasek portfolio.
Together with Fu Hua and Dilhan, the Temasek leadership will continue to deepen its bench strength, build on its robust systems, and nurture a dedicated team founded on the Temasek values of meritocracy, excellence, respect, integrity, teamwork and trust.

More on Hsieh Fu Hua
Mr Hsieh, aged 59, joined Temasek as Board Director and Special Advisor to Temasek CEO on 1 February 2010.
He was previously the CEO and a non-independent director of Singapore Exchange Limited (“SGX”) from March 2003 to November 2009.
Prior to his role at the SGX, Mr Hsieh built his career in merchant banking and capital markets in Asia, spanning more than 35 years. Mr Hsieh had been the Managing Partner of PrimePartners, a corporate advisory firm based in Singapore which he co-founded, and Group Managing Director of BNP Prime Peregrine Group in Hong Kong – the joint venture Asian investment banking arm of BNP founded by PrimePartners. Prior to forming PrimePartners in 1993, Mr Hsieh was Chief Executive of Morgan Grenfell Asia Holdings Pte Ltd which he joined in 1974.
Mr Hsieh is a member of the National University of Singapore Board of Trustees and the National Arts Council. He graduated with a business degree from the University of Singapore.
More on Dilhan Pillay Sandrasegara
Mr Sandrasegara, aged 47, is currently the Managing Partner of WongPartnership LLP.
He has over 20 years of experience in the legal services sector, especially in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and general corporate law.
A trustee of the Singapore Management University and the Singapore Institute of Technology, Mr Sandrasegara also serves as a member of the Corporate Governance Council established by the Monetary Authority of Singapore as well as on the boards of a number of other private and publicly listed companies.
Mr Sandrasegara graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and attended Cambridge University on a Cambridge ODA Scholarship, where he obtained a Master of Law.
